It’s a neo-grotesque modern font that puts clarity and simplicity at the top. This is a sans serif font which draws its inspiration from traditional British stone carving, but transforms these roots into a functional and contemporary typeface, ready to support any message in any medium.
Highgate has open letter shapes, with distinctive and varying proportions, making it highly legible and giving a friendly, welcoming, and sophisticated expression. With the inclusion of key alternate characters, including diamond-shaped dots, and a set of illustrative icons, that expression can be pushed even further.
The family consists of nine weights, from Hairline to Black, with matching slanted italics. The mid-weights prioritize functionality, making them ideal as workhorse reading fonts, while the extreme weights work best as expressive display fonts for attention-grabbing headlines.
