Rasa supports some 45 languages in Latin and two in Gujarati script, Gujarati and Kachchi. A Latin-only version is readily available as Yrsa. In terms of glyphs incorporated, Rasa is usually a superset of Yrsa and consists of Yrsa in an adjusted version to best assistance the major Gujarati design and style.

The project design and production was accomplished in-house by Anna Giedrys and David Brezina. What makes the Yrsa and Rasa project distinctive would be the style approach. It is a deliberate experiment in remixing current typefaces to generate a new a single. The Latin part started with Eben Sorkin’s Merriweather. The Gujarati began with David Brezina’s Skolar Gujarati.

The Yrsa and Rasa project is led by Rosetta Sort, a form design and style foundry primarily based in Europe.
