Oklahoma City Thunder is an American basketball team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma City. The team is in the NBA division in the northwestern area of ​​the Western Conference. The team’s home games will be held at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. City Fonder is the only professional sports team in North America based in Oklahoma.

The team was founded in 1967 under the name Seattle SuperSonics and was in the league until 2008, but moved to Oklahoma after a dispute between Clay Bennett (owner of Seattle) and Seattle lawmakers.
