Eczar is created by Vaibhav Singh, made by David Brezina, and published by Rosetta Type Foundry. It began as a student project in 2010 in the course of Vaibhav’s MA Typeface Design and style studies at the University of Reading (UK). Eczar was developed to bring liveliness and vigor to multi-script typesetting in Latin and Devanagari, and supplying an alternative to existing styles by imparting a powerful mix of character and performance at both text and display sizes. The display qualities of the design and style intensify in the heavier weights, along with the heaviest is most effective suited for headline and show purposes.
